The Alumni Association was instituted in 1987 for the purpose of keeping our alumni connected to Saint Mary’s Institute.   The Founding directors Jacque (Morini ’64) Bresonis and Rosemary (Van Allen ’49) Francisco issued the first Alumni Newsletter dated winter 1988.  After a decade of dedication to the newsletter, Rosemary and Jacque passed the Alumni torch over to Mary Susan (Rossetti) Megna (Dominick ’69) in September of 1997.  Sue carried on the tradition of distributing the yearly Alumni newsletter and all the other tasks that go along with running an Alumni Association.   

   Throughout the years, with the help of alumni and friends, we have been able to raise several thousand dollars.  Our annual newsletter provides our alumni with the opportunity to catch up on SMI news and the happenings of their classmates. We hope that this web site will be another way of communicating our news to our alumni throughout the entire year.

The alumni office is staffed by Jeanette Constantine.  The alumni office provides former students with whatever information is needed for class reunions, memorials, etc.  We appreciate the cooperation and donations of our alumni and friends.  It is through their efforts that the Alumni Association continues to be a success.
